I have been in painting services for over thirty years. I am a licensed California State painting contractor since August 8th, 1984. I have a C-33 classification, (painting and decorating). I started painting in the summertime of 1976 at the age of seventeen. In 1985 I started my painting company in Orange County, California. In 1987, I moved to the Inland Empire, and have been working in Riverside and the surrounding areas ever since.
I am one of six contractors in my family including my son who is the latest addition. My father was a hard workingman with nine children. He taught us to have faith, morals, respect for others, a strong work ethic, and he taught us the universal rule of life. We should always treat others the way that we would like to be treated.
I believe in good workmanship and good materials. I also believe that a person should always do their best, or get out of the business. I take pride in the fact that whenever possible, I use the paint at full strength, (no thinning). I use the best products available. For instance, I use 100% acrylic paints. I use a variety of paint brands to better serve my customers. Most people will tell you that they have a friend or family member who got a poor paint job, because they used a particular type of paint.
This is probably because the contractor they chose used a poor-quality paint to save money. The reality is that most paint stores have very high-quality paints available, and also poor quality paints. This is because they are trying to meet the budget of the customer.
