Since 1989, Custom Wood Shutters & Blinds has been dedicated to providing Orange County homeowners with beautiful, functional, and long-lasting window treatments—all backed by an unparalleled level of expertise and service. What began in the Irvine garage of founders Gary Boyer and Kathi Ash has grown into a respected second-generation family business rooted in craftsmanship, trust, and true community connection. Gary focused relentlessly on quality products and expert workmanship, while Kathi built a reputation for outstanding customer service. Their combined passion quickly transformed a small shutter and blind company into a full-service window-treatment provider serving every city in Orange County.
Today, the company continues to offer a full line of custom shutters, shades, blinds, and more—designed, installed, and serviced exclusively by their in-house team—never subcontractors. Centrally located in Tustin and serving all of Orange County, they remain committed to competitive pricing, personalized consultations, and hands-on expertise.
Over the years, the Boyer family legacy expanded when Gary’s son, Eron, joined in 1995 to lead the installation side of the business. After Gary’s early retirement in 2009, Eron and his wife Cindi officially took over in 2010, continuing the tradition of exceptional craftsmanship and customer care. As of 2024, the team includes Eron, Cindi, Mark, Maryam, and Andrew—a tight-knit group dedicated to treating every customer like family.
